I just wanted to mention it and it should be a thought-provoking point, simply because I have had my own experiences there.

I know, that’s how I understood it too, all good. I am working on being mobile again. Let’s agree that we want the sink, toilet, and shower in our small bathroom to be easily accessible. :)

What would bother me about the plan is that you basically have your back to the door when standing at the washbasin. But from your answers, I can tell that you're not really looking for suggestions, but more for confirmation. Personally, such a bathroom in a new building would be way too small for me, but as is well known, man's will is his paradise...

Even though I think the tip is wasted: have you considered placing the washbasin next to the shower? That way, the person entering the bathroom won't run into the back of the person brushing their teeth (especially children are often quite energetic).

This is the first time I'm hearing that. It would bother us more to look directly at the toilet. No quiet little corners here. I agree with you, the bathroom is small and designed to be sporty. You just have to be modest in your new home. ;)

why not simply put the toilet next to the shower and the sink opposite so that you exit the entrance area and do not look directly at the toilet when entering the room.

Hello Marcus,

Tendentially, I would lean towards the 2nd solution approach; it looks constructed and at first glance open and inviting, despite the comparatively small bathroom. However, in my view, the placement of the washbasin is poorly chosen in both designs – although the light falls from the side onto the washbasin, in my opinion it is too little; *I* wouldn’t be okay with it, if from the side, then consistently.

Take a look at the attachment – *I* would probably do without the toilet in the bathroom, since such is accessible at a short distance from the bathroom. If a quiet place should also be installed in the bathroom, in my opinion the lighting should be “artificially” extended. For example, through glass enclosures in the shower area.

Just my 2 coins

Rhenish greetings
