Open shower - how deep?

Our shower screen in the main bathroom is 1.40 meters long. Usually, when showering with the rain shower or "waterfall" shower head, nothing usually splashes out. But be careful with a shower panel with massage jets. At first, our bathtub, which is about 2 meters away, got quite a bit of water.

Why should one go to the bathroom fitter? They are SIGNIFICANTLY more expensive than glaziers and have a decisive disadvantage: They know (almost) only standard sizes.

Nevertheless, in my opinion, it does not depend on the glass here (virtually anyone can order it in the right size), but on the fittings, frames, whatever, so that two or more glass panes become side walls and doors that work (small lift on the door hinge as an example). A glazier can also do that, possibly, maybe even a plumber, tinsmith, or whatever they are all called ... Carpenters also work with glass . Many roads lead to Rome ... It certainly depends on the individual case (both the object and the craftsman of choice).

Why actually no folding glass walls?

We have two folding glass side walls in the large bathroom that are folded out for showering and otherwise rest against the wall.
That means we otherwise have a lot of free space in the bathroom.

Correct! A folding glass wall is a must for small bathrooms, making the space appear larger when folded. Just check with Mr. Google, you'll find offers and pictures!
