We have the glass roof cleaned twice a year, I am currently considering whether three times next year will be necessary or not. The awning underneath is of course almost permanently out at these temperatures - however, not in spring or so, because it is enough to adjust the slats of the [Raffstores] accordingly.

expensive is always relative, the [Lamellendach] is not more expensive than a glass roof because with the glass roof the awning is always added. With the [Lamellendach], you have the advantage that you can clean it anytime from below. With the glass roof, you can only clean the top side from above. Major disadvantage of the lamella roof for us: rain protection comes with shading. One cannot exist without the other (in my opinion).

Well, I don't see that as a disadvantage, I don't have to see the rain coming.
