First of all, the landlord of your new tenant is their contact person. If the landlord had no complaints after your renovation, it means you can sit back and relax. Therefore, kindly but firmly ask them not to bother you any further and to address their concerns to the landlord.

That is the landlord’s business anyway. Take it like a colleague of mine who always says: "That only affects me peripherally" ;)

: Just by the way; were the whitewashed walls already white before? Or were there, I would say, nice other colors (vibrant/dark)?

A lot has changed in the last 15 years regarding these clauses in rental agreements....

The walls and ceilings were white before. Only one wall was colored. We painted that twice. It was also not complained about. Only supposedly some spots on the white ceiling and on a white wall... We used professional paint. Not hardware store paint. From a specialist dealer. I mean, the whole thing is purely a matter of opinion. Whoever wants to find something, will find something...

Beauty is always relative! And when something is worn out, meaning no longer beautiful, then it’s due to use. Through the rental agreement and rent payment, this is settled for you. Sit back and don’t worry about other people’s problems. Eventually, you too have to rest :)

um, then you possibly wouldn't have had to paint the white ones. We didn't do that either after 5 years of renting and moving out.

it was 0.0 complained about. even then the white wall was already slightly grayish
