That is not correct, because not all defects have to be compensated. What the landlord wants to have compensated and what actually has to be compensated are two different things. Not everything falls under the responsibility of the tenant, who pays a usage fee (rent) for the use, i.e. the occupation. Special agreements must also be observed here. As correctly explained on the topic, the contact point for the new tenant is the landlord. If the landlord has nothing more to complain about, the matter is settled.
