One or two door dampers per Ikea door?

I am new in the Ikea-Fans forum. My girlfriend and I have bought a new kitchen from Ikea. Now my question is, how many door dampers do I need per door?

What are your experiences??

I would generally use 2 dampers per door, because their effectiveness decreases slightly over time and then one is not enough. Except for really small doors like e.g. 60x35 or similar.... With two dampers, the doors no longer close.

best to try it out, with two dampers the doors might close too slowly for you. by the way, the dampers from ikea are quite expensive. cheaper are the original Blum 973A0500 which can be found in hardware stores. (about €1.50 each).

I have installed only one on each of the 19 doors (always at the bottom, can be removed more quickly if needed) and it has been working without problems for about a year!
