Novelan heat pump error 704 hot gas fault

I hope that the expertise for these systems will be developed in the coming years ….. because as long as every heater installer here installs something without knowing how or why to design it – as a customer you would have to read into it endlessly, which is bad.

Hello everyone, the refrigeration technician was here today. Refrigerant was refilled and the heat pump still has the same error 704. That means I need a new compressor. Can someone tell me which type I need? The heat pump is an Alpha innotev LWD90a and it has a Copeland scroll compressor installed with the designation APH 73YAAMT. Unfortunately, there is no exact description of the compressor to be found. Can someone help me further?

What use is the designation to you, do you want to install it yourself? Sounds more like a task for a technician.

Hi, I wanted to report here again, the topic could actually become relevant for many who have such a heat pump.
First of all, we waited three months for the spare parts...
Right now the specialist from the manufacturer’s company is here.
He is checking everything but already says directly that everything will be replaced. He checked, it’s even covered by warranty, at Novelan we have five years manufacturer’s warranty on everything related to the refrigeration circuit.
Expansion valve, compressor, etc. everything will be replaced free of charge. I really hope it’s actually free of charge... and that no nasty bill will come in a few weeks.

During the three months waiting time, I switched the hot water preparation to a secondary heat source so that the error message no longer appears.
I hope none of you have too many problems with your heat pumps after such a short time.
