It also depends on the type of house you build and the level of insulation you achieve. If you are at KfW40, you should consider moving up to KfW40+, as the photovoltaic storage system might already be paid for by the larger repayment bonus and thus worth it. With a timber frame house, you are often already close to KfW40. It is probably rarely worthwhile to aim to definitely reach this. I would definitely install a central ventilation system, even if it never pays off through heating cost savings.

Thank you for the previous opinions and tips.

How high is the power consumption of a central ventilation system? Is it at a "normal" level or does it consume a lot of electricity?

The savings depend on usage habits and also on the heating technology.

But around 15 to 20 kWh/(m2 a) less heat demand can be expected.

50 to 70 watts is a typical consumption for controlled residential ventilation in a single-family house, multiply this by your electricity prices and usage times (in summer, if desired, you can still ventilate as usual by shock and tilt ventilation). So about 200 to 400 kWh of electricity will be used.

And compare this to how much your kWh of thermal kWh costs based on your area. Oh yes, about 100 euros for the filters are added on top.

In the end, it is a matter of comfort — electric shutters are also luxury in this regard and never pay off. But they are still very convenient because you no longer have to raise and lower the shutters everywhere twice a day and can quickly cost a good four-figure sum.

You have basically listed the entire content of the forum with your questions.

Therefore, it probably makes more sense if you browse the relevant subforums for current discussions and simply read through them. Then, if necessary, ask a question on the topic there.

With this

I would start: Every house provider/BU/GU wants to sell their favorite. They have well-functioning model houses – whether with this or that technology. As a builder, you have to be convinced independently of what they tell you.

So, just browse through the forum.

Feeding in brings 10,x ct/kWh. Self-consumption saves >27 ct/kWh. Self-consumption is more worthwhile than feeding in. The self-consumption rate can be increased with a battery storage system. The number of charge cycles and the storage price determine the payback period. The storage is not only active at night but also at times when the photovoltaic system does not cover the energy demand – e.g., in the morning. You really have to consider lifestyle habits a bit before generally claiming that storage is not worthwhile.

Soundproofing is possible with all types of construction when it matters.
Heating recommendation: refrain from fossil fuels – the technology is available and affordable enough to take some responsibility.
Low additional costs may mean upfront investments – you have to do some calculations or simply buy the good feeling of the future.
Ventilation system – I don’t think much of living in a (warning: massive exaggeration!) “technically permanently drafty, air-conditioned Tupperware box.” Occasionally opening a window still seems practical to me.
Regarding photovoltaics and storage, you will hear all opinions here, some of them dogmatically stated. We did not see the photovoltaic system solely as a profit center, but as an integral part of the house that contributes to the overall value or not.

Don’t think of your house primarily as a building with technology but as a shell for your life. What is important to you, how do you like to live, what makes your life… Thinking from the inside out is a good approach if you can start from “zero.” With these thoughts, you go to providers and architects. Those who understand may continue talking with you. Others will not be able to help you.
