Of course, everything is theoretical. How it will look for us is yet to be determined.

Good morning, Sorry for the late response, work is currently not easy. Thanks for the helpful and interesting feedback. I especially found the one about the clock quite funny, even though I'm not really into that game. By the way, I also find the experiences of this bureaucratic process quite exciting. There's still quite a bit going on here as well. I hope the city and cadastral office don't dawdle too long and don't go on summer break. So far, everything looks quite good, feedback etc. came back very quickly. Thanks again and if you have any more feedback, always send it over :)

Hello forum,
the cabin is standing and we moved in at the end of 2022.

Built at a fixed price from early 2021 and still financed under 1% for 10-15 years (three financing components).
Back then, I was annoyed not to have caught the sweet "interest spot" from the summer, but by now I am quite satisfied.
Even if I would have preferred to finance/secure for 20 years or longer now. Well, so what, you can't have everything.

Thanks to a lot of feedback, also from this thread, there were actually almost no surprises, and the Excel calculation held up until the transfer of the last installment/final invoice. That’s also good because the fourth resident of the house is already on the way.

It won’t get boring anytime soon thanks to various little things and details, and the garden/yard project still needs some love.
But it’s all positive stress and, as we all know, the saying about Rome and the one day.

With that said,
thanks again to you all and good luck with your approaches.

Cheers!
