But wouldn’t that be more of a disadvantage energetically speaking with regards to photovoltaic systems? It should have a slope of 20 - 40 degrees and a correspondingly large surface area, right? And the weather resistance is apparently not optimal either. We first thought of a shed roof. That way, you could use the entire roof. But then you would look at the slope from the entrance and the garden, which we don’t like. That’s why we went back to the gable roof.
How high the knee wall will be in the end, we will have to see. The higher the better, of course. But since we are limited in height, there probably isn’t much room for maneuver. Also, the ground floor is 12m wide and the upper floor 10.5. The calculation with slope, height, and knee wall is too complicated for me.
