OT about parental allowance: Changes in tax classes have not been relevant for quite some time and can therefore be skipped. The PA is calculated from a fictitious net income from the gross income and not from the actual net income.

You can only be envied, where in Germany are there still such constellations (very good salaries --> dirt-cheap plots). For 95€ you can't even get plots in the Hunsrück. :(

Anyway, everything fits for you...

I don’t know where you got this information from, but it is simply not correct. Of course, tax class changes are still relevant and can make a significant difference. When calculating parental allowance, the tax class that was predominantly assigned during the assessment period is used as a basis, and this of course ultimately also affects the amount of the parental allowance.

I got the information from our [Elterngeldstelle], even in writing. Great, when you get false information from them. :-( Luckily, it has no consequences for me, since it's the maximum rate. I'm very sorry, of course I retract the statement.

Honestly, that shocks me, but unfortunately it doesn't surprise me. :(
Luckily, we have a competent caseworker, otherwise we would have "given away" around 3,000€ in total. Given the amounts involved here, that's small potatoes, but as you know, even small potatoes produce manure. :)

Thanks for your feedback. The plot is indeed quite cheap, but that’s also because the plot is located in a village with 1000 inhabitants ;-)
