I can't imagine that they will tear it out again...

I didn't plant anything at the border, already left 30cm space to the border. But the backrest is 60cm on our property!

He didn't skimp on concrete either ... you can also step the mortar bed in a square shape instead of drawing out a "ramp" like that. Nothing will grow over that anymore, he should do that on his client's area but not with you. Of course, dismantling! Mortar has to end at the border or he should continue placing L-shaped stones!

That would be great of course... But as already said, will they really remove a whole day's work again? Hence the question whether I can remove the concrete myself? Probably not, because otherwise the stones might tip over!

Could an admin please remove the two pictures with children, then I'll pixelate them!

Unfortunately, I am personally affected by this issue. As a layperson, you don’t have such foresight. Even sadder is that our company built all the houses here and they all have different heights... With the small plots, you can hardly compensate that with some slope. Is that actually your final height? There are nicer solutions than the L-stone appearance... Demolition definitely has to take place. His complaining won’t help. I wouldn’t lift a finger. He messed it up. In one of the pictures, he also put a support at the L-stones, right? Why?

Yes, this is our final height. Our garden will then be relatively level, then it goes down 1m to our house/terrace.

So I could insist on that? He probably started with L-stones because the height to be supported is 70cm. The neighbor also said he wanted curbstones because L-stones are too expensive for him. (But I didn't expect the back support to end up with us!)

Of course, that is a superstructure like any other. Of course L-shaped blocks are too expensive for him. You can offer to buy that part of the area from him. Let's see if that corrects his calculation ...
