Does anyone here know the company Koll regarding paving? Our landscape gardener said they are very common in our region and also of good quality. I'm just surprised that they are only half as expensive as paving from Kann.

So, does anyone know Koll?

And is quality important when it comes to paving? What can happen? Do cheap ones, for example, break more easily?

If you google, the 47 EUR net is probably quite cheap. At Benz24, the stones cost 65 EUR/m² if you order as a private customer. For my part, I find it absurdly expensive for something that the car drives over daily, rain, snow, dirt, leaves fall on it, etc. I would spend that for a terrace per m², but definitely not for 80m² driveway, parking spaces, and paths. But I'm not a benchmark here. Nice paving, if you like it, go for it.

Our garden landscaper recommends the paving Aquarius from Knoll. That’s even a real eco-friendly paving and costs only 26.99 net, so only half. Could that be something? Or should I rather go for Kann? I have never heard the name Knoll before, but as mentioned the garden landscaper says it’s very common here. I also can’t find any reviews online.

It's also difficult with Knoll, because the company is called Koll. Some people install laminate flooring for 20 EUR/m² in their house, others parquet for 120. Both work. In the end, it's a paving stone. Colored concrete with a more or less elaborate surface treatment. But it remains concrete.

There is already disagreement over whether you can use 6cm for a driveway where a truck will never pass, or if it must be 8cm. The company Kann says 6cm is completely sufficient, others tell you it should definitely be 8cm.

But thanks anyway for the tip, the company Koll actually has some interesting stones.

Two more questions:

1. Do I need a drainage channel for eco stones? The slope goes towards the street.

2. The drainage channel has a plastic grate with class B125. Is that enough?
