Neighbor finds the air-to-water heat pump too loud

So, at the end of December we commissioned a new air-to-water heat pump. And were amazed at how quiet it is. Ours is located at the corner of the house and can therefore radiate freely in almost every direction.
The air-to-water heat pump is currently even running at full capacity permanently due to electric drying.

The neighbor opposite only noticed that the unit was running when I pointed it out to him. A few days after commissioning.

If you stand about 6 meters away (that is the distance to the street). Then, despite full load, the air-to-water heat pump is only audible if you listen carefully. Birdsong, rustling branches, the fountain from the other neighbor, etc. are all significantly louder.

Therefore, I would assume that the noise level strongly depends, among other things, on the year of manufacture and model.

With your nickname, one might assume "assistance"!? Or should you change your nickname now? :)

That is also my greatest hope after deciding on a current Vaillant air-to-water heat pump, which is supposedly the quietest on the market.

So I have an air-water heat pump myself and still I am not as narrow-minded as some who write here ... no one should disturb their neighbors so much with their heating that they get annoyed! Such a humming can ruin someone's entire zest for life, so sit down with your neighbor and find a solution together ....

You just have to know whether the "problem" lies with yourself or rather with the other person.

The moment you say "ok, we can take a look at the problem with my heat pump," you have admitted your guilt to 99% of people and will have it rubbed in your face again and again. From that perspective, my advice is to be cautious; it still has nothing to do with being stubborn.
