My floor plan for a 4-family house, please share your opinions

I have to mention at this point that on the east side of the attic (directly behind the heating room) a 3.5m wide dormer is planned. This does make the gallery area brighter and more comfortable, doesn't it?

Also, the bathroom in the attic is supposed to become somehow bigger and have a large skylight, that was my idea too. The architect said we can manage that.

Why not design one half right away the way you might want to use it later, and then rent it out first? What is the difference from renting out two separate apartments?

Not drawn on the plans, but as I have already written, the front doors are located on the south and north sides. Terrace on the west.

Because an entire semi-detached house is too large to rent out economically.

That an interior bathroom has no window is better than if a living room has no window. I would not criticize that; it is the same in other designs, see row houses etc. What bothers me is that except for the basement there is no storage space in the apartment at all. Every new rental apartment has a storage room. Here only in the outdoor area. The bedroom also has no closet space for one meter per adult plus one meter for household laundry. Not suitable for a family of three. I also would not see myself living there as a couple.
