Moisture seeps through the floor-to-ceiling windows in the new building

I have sealed the area of [jedenfass] separately after the installation of the windows. The window installer declined responsibility. Not his service. Keep in mind, if moisture ever penetrates there like today, you will never notice it because it is underneath the insulation of the screed.

Hello HansHack

the water runs, as you rightly noticed, onto the wall barrier, under the window, and into the interior.
The wall barrier should be cut off, and the window should be sealed from the outside against incoming water.
What strikes me about your picture: What kind of stuff is that used as the base build-up? There are really big stones in there. That is neither gravel nor RCL. I wouldn’t want to build a terrace like that. Some kind of dirt has been dumped there. Or did you want it that way?

Hello

I have taken another close look at the picture. Apparently, some terrace slab extends all the way to the window. This is indicated by the guide rail of the roller shutter. OK, then the procedure would be: terrace slab up to the window and seal with silicone. But now silicone on the window and the moisture barrier wouldn’t be a bad idea either. That way, the moisture won’t penetrate anymore.

Hello, thank you very much for the information. The photo was taken somewhat unfavorably. The base structure is about 20-30 cm lower than the floor slab / basement ceiling. Only material for filling the basement walls was used here and it will still be filled properly with suitable material.

Shouldn't the final height of the soil/terrace be set lower exactly for that purpose? See

Since we do not know how the terrace is to be executed, it is speculation.
