Yes, if you are nearsighted and put on your eye makeup.

That’s how we have it too. However, we don’t have a mirrored cabinet (I find them somehow old-fashioned), but a mirror directly above the partition wall. I would also find higher problematic; depending on body height you can only see your face and neck or even less. On the ledge stand two baskets (for her/for him), the rest disappears in the base cabinet or in the mid-height cabinet.

We find the mirrored cabinet especially practical because you can store quite a bit in it and it doesn’t clutter up the visible area everywhere.

And placing the mirrored cabinet directly on the pedestal doesn’t look very nice visually. You also lose storage space under the mirrored cabinet.

I stood in front of the mirror and 150cm is really quite high.

I would say the bottom edge of the mirrored cabinet should be around 130-140cm.

At 140cm we can see ourselves in the mirror from the chest up.

;) ... I only have the mirror and all the small stuff in the drawer of the washstand.

.. then you must be quite tall. And why do you still absolutely need this extra shelf? That can go in the mirror cabinet and the rest in the washstand.

One definitely has to set priorities. In 90% of cases, there is no alternative to a mirror above the washbasin, and that is necessary for getting ready in the morning. That should have been planned beforehand, but I don’t blame you, because as a builder you definitely don’t know that the storage space will end up so high.

The bathroom mirror definitely belongs (my advice, if you want to use it properly) at least on this 120cm level, if not lower. Higher can be thrown in the trash!

One that replaces the cabinet behind the mirror.

That can be painted or replaced.

lower than 120cm is not possible because of the base

But we definitely need the mirrored cabinet because otherwise we have no place to put things down

The bathroom is quite small and not everything fits in the base cabinet

What I could imagine is hanging the mirrored cabinet just a little higher than the base.

about 125-130cm then you can't put anything there anymore but it doesn't look as bad as if the mirrored cabinet is directly on the base

Are you sure that they can always be replaced, meaning that they are screwed on and not, for example, glued?
