Why DALI?

Not necessarily. I have not experienced any failure with PWM in DALI controls. It doesn't have to be for the entire house.

Take a look at Hamulight Cree LED, that should be the model and we have also installed them.

Are you satisfied with Hamulight?
Unfortunately, they only have sets of up to 12 pieces, we would need 14 units.

What kind of canopy do you have? We are getting 6x4.5m and a total of 7 rafters where the LEDs will be distributed.

We thought 2 LED spots per rafter might be enough, you always did 2 / 3 / 2 / 3...
What would be your recommendation for how many we would need?

but the other transformers that are dimmable work too, and it doesn't have to be DALI, right?

Our roof will be a cold conservatory measuring 3x4.5m. The question is what you want to do there in the dark; for dinner and chilling, the 14 pieces will be enough for you. For reading a book, they are almost certainly too few. I would rather recommend a few more; you can always dim them if they are too bright. The roof has been up for 6-7 weeks now, and the side parts and awnings are only coming next week. I can’t say much about the lights yet, except that they work.

the Hamulight spots have only a beam angle of 45 degrees, isn't that possibly too little or too concentrated on a smaller area?

also a disadvantage is that they are only available in 2700K and not in 3000K

For us, it fits like this, we wanted warm white light. However, we did not make a big deal out of choosing the spots.

Does anyone of you know good LED spots with 3000K light color and a mounting diameter of 27mm?
