Material front door on the south side

Hello!
Our main entrance is on the south side. What material can you recommend? Is there a problem if the color is relatively dark (probably steel blue)?
I have read that aluminum front doors can warp due to heat/sun exposure and close poorly.
An alternative would be plastic.
Who can help me further?

Purely with regard to thermal changes:
Wood > Aluminum >>>>> Plastic

Plastic also expands and contracts. So to be on the safe side, white is best. Our door in the south, which is the patio door, hardly warps at all. However, I think that aluminum expands and contracts the least of all materials. Steel blue is also not very dark, not like navy blue.

Fifty years ago, aluminum doors and windows still had one-piece profiles; today, this warping problem is practically only found in plastic doors and windows with dark gray foiled exterior sides (but less so for front doors if located under canopies).
