Hello everyone,

I am interested in this new floor from Meister "Lindura" - unfortunately, you can hardly find any reviews (I have only found information from dealers and the manufacturer itself).

Perhaps there is someone here who has installed this floor at home and can report how satisfied they are.

I somehow can't really assess the floor, it looks nice visually, but it's not really a proper parquet floor, is it?

Do you actually have a "real wooden floor" with Lindura? Or does it lean more towards (premium) laminate?

I would also say the price is somewhere between the two.

Thanks for your help!

Regards, Florian

Hello powerbook,

we already had a discussion about this here. But I don’t think anyone has moved in yet who wants to lay this floor. So there are probably no practical reports yet...

Wild_Thing

Edit: As far as I have read, this is a wooden floor that apparently goes in the direction of WPC. (WPC is available as decking boards, a mixture of wood and plastic)

Hello,

the floor has actually been on the market for over a year, right? I'm surprised that no one has installed it yet – or maybe that's not necessarily a good sign if the floor wasn't attractive to anyone here (price-performance).

What do you think?

I see it this way: Lindura is in a price range where you can already get real parquet at OBI and similar stores, although of course not in the attractive long plank format. I find Lindura very interesting because of its strong impact resistance, especially since I want to have the same floor in the open kitchen and the adjacent living/dining room. At the specialist dealer, both the appearance and the feel convinced me. I have now ordered a sample and will compare it with classic Meister parquet regarding moisture resistance and impact sensitivity. As soon as my test is completed, I would be happy to provide information. Regards Ingo

We installed the Lindura floor. We have been living in the house for almost three months (total approx. 150 sqm). We had major problems during the installation of the floor: In the approx. 1.20 m wide hallway, it turned out that the flooring apparently has a material defect, as it does not lie flat on the flat substrate (dry screed). The boards warped extremely, so that the hallway had real waves. (We installed the floor as a floating floor, technically everything was correct). The foreman then delivered another batch of "Lindura". However, this was apparently from the same batch as the first one (at least it had the same date). Thus, this floor was also defective and unnecessary time was wasted – quite annoying. Only with the third delivery, which was a somewhat wider and longer format than the originally chosen floor, could we install it. Due to the enormous delays with the floor, we also had to postpone other trades such as kitchen and doors several times, so that ultimately the planned move-in date could no longer be met. All in all, it is still a visually nice floor, but I cannot recommend it unreservedly...
