Hello everyone :)

I am completely overwhelmed with the topic of flooring. We have the following requirements:

- should be installed throughout the entire house (except bathrooms), so also entrance area and kitchen
- easy to install for DIYers (so probably click system?)
- large planks desired, at least 180cm, preferably over 200cm
- installable in large rooms (10x10m) without expansion joints
- resistant, robust, scratch-resistant
- surface should look as natural as possible, no classic plastic feel
- suitable for underfloor heating

Currently, I have the following floors in mind:
- Parador Modular One
- Meister Comfort DL 600
- Haro Classic Aqua
- Haro Life Aqua

I would really appreciate tips because I can't see the forest for the trees right now :(

Hello,

we preferred an adhesive solution over the click solution. It is better for the underfloor heating in terms of efficiency. But we also had a new build. We installed the same floor in all rooms except bathrooms, entrance area, and stairs. Our living room with kitchen and dining area is also about 65 sqm and adjoins the hallway. It was laid completely without expansion joints (including the hallway). I don't think that would have worked with a click solution.

After looking very, very much, we decided on the following floor:
enia VALENCE oak elegant.

It is also available as a click solution. However, the size of the planks does not match your idea.

Our goal was: a surface as robust as possible with a texture close to real wood. But not parquet, since it is also in the kitchen and the children's room. As high a wear layer as possible. 0.55 mm. But not too rustic looking. We are super happy with it, and above all, after living on the floor for 3 months, it is very easy to maintain and even forgives a scratch from our little one.

Furthermore, we placed great value on the appropriate certificates from the manufacturer, ensuring that the floor does not emit any plasticizers in the end. During the bonding, a certified adhesive was also used.

We have a floor from Wineo in the 800 XL series with click system upstairs, I can highly recommend it. On the ground floor, in my opinion, gluing is mandatory. This way, repairs can be made much better and the feeling underfoot is simply even better.

Hello,
throughout the whole house where there are no tiles, we have fully glued vinyl flooring from the company VivaFloors. They are from NL.
So far, we are very satisfied. The fully glued version can be mopped, almost like tiles, nothing happens. We think the floor looks very good.
Today, by chance, the lady from the bank's subsidiary was here and took photos of the building, and she also immediately said, "Oh, nice floors, is that laminate?" and when I said, "No, vinyl, as PVC," she was very surprised and said it looked very good for vinyl flooring.
You probably don’t have to be afraid before gluing either. We didn’t do it ourselves (it was part of the contract with the BU), but we watched and it didn’t look like rocket science.

yes, I know: researching on the internet is "excessive";). I assume you also went through all the "installation videos" from planeo:p If you go to an interior decorator's store, you might be lucky and get good advice. Of course, it’s a sales talk then, but they already notice whether you know what you're talking about or not. In the end, we picked a floor in such a store. The advantage was also that you can "touch" the floor.

I don’t know if it’s good at the moment, but for example, the Paradour is also available in the hardware store (OB*), for "touching".

In the end, you just get crazier and crazier (on the internet). With the floors you mentioned, you really can’t go wrong, except if you don’t like the look. Recently, there was an interesting thread here about expansion joints where almost no one followed the rules and so far nothing has happened. The important thing is just that the person installing the floor stores it in the room for 2 days before laying it – no taking it straight from the truck and starting installation.

Yes, that's true, that's also my experience. But with vinyl, in my opinion, it is initially difficult to find something that is harmless to health. All eco-tests & co. give rather poor ratings.

We also want to lay vinyl throughout the entire upper floor, but have not yet found a nice one with a really good eco-label. We would be very grateful for a tip.
