Hello everyone,

we are just finalizing our floor plan and are still looking for ideas on how to best design the children’s and parents’ bathrooms. How would you arrange the various elements?

Our current idea is as follows – children on the left, parents on the right:

[*]The bottom wall has a knee wall height of 2.00m.
[*]The exterior dimensions are relatively fixed; the partition walls between the children’s and parents’ bathrooms can be moved and adjusted as needed. If the planning requires it, the wall on the far right could be shifted up to 50cm further to the right – but we would actually prefer to avoid that.
[*]One planning goal was also that the "regular water flow" passes as far to the left as possible, because the dining/living area on the ground floor begins underneath the right side.
[*]We will hardly ever use the bathtub, at most for the children occasionally. Therefore, it is not a high priority in the planning and – due to its rare use – it is planned on the right side. Overall, the other rooms are more important to us than the bathrooms, and accordingly, their size is limited.

We look forward to your ideas! Many thanks in advance.

Can doors and windows still be moved? What is the room depth?

If the bathtub is mostly used by the children, why is it then in the parents' bathroom?

Thank you for your questions!

[*]The measurement seems to have somehow been lost in the screenshot. The room depth is 2.03m.
[*]The doors are fixed to within +/-10cm.
[*]The windows can still be planned; in the current sketch, they are initially placed so that they fit the exterior view.
[*]Bathtub: The children are not here yet, so we don’t know if they would use the bathtub ;-) We are not big fans of bathtubs, but we think it gives the master bathroom a bit of charm and spaciousness. If the children want to bathe with us occasionally later on, we don’t mind.

The combined width of the two rooms is missing as well, right?

Ok, new attempt :-) Both bathrooms together have a length of 236 +14 (wall) + 365 = 615 cm and a width of 204 cm.
