Are there any new experiences with this? We are currently in the final stages of planning the outdoor facilities.
Execution is supposed to begin in 2 weeks, which is why I am now inquiring about robotic mowers. It is certain that a robot will be purchased; the area to be mowed (yellow in the attachment) is approximately 460m². I have now decided on the Gardena R70li, as I do not consider the extra cost for the Husqvarna equivalent to be worth it.
I can still influence the boundaries around the house (terraces or concrete curb stones for splash protection). Since I want to do as little rework as possible, how should these edges be designed? Flush with the lawn or protruding?
What else should be considered if one could have an influence? For example, I have read that it is useful/important to design slopes in such a way that there is still a certain level area at the bottom up to the boundary wire. This prevents the mower from slipping over the wire.
Thank you very much!
