Large beech tree on new construction site - distance from house to tree?

Here is a sketch of the parcel (not 100% to scale). The possible house could have about 10m distance to the huge beech tree (heart root) according to the previous information about the new building plot. At a distance of 14m there is also a large chestnut tree (flat root). Exactly visible behind it in the photos.

Judging by the aerial photos, the crown of the beech has approximately a 10m radius around the trunk. If this 10-11m house safety distance should be sufficient, I can imagine a sensible house design.

At the moment, I am primarily interested in experience values regarding the possible risk that the tree might pose to the building.

I don't think you would have to cut down the tree out of fear for your house. Generally, I would also expect roots within the crown's extent, but at the extremities they are not worryingly strong. To be completely safe, you can install rhizome barriers. When excavating, you'll see how far the roots branch out. Wherever you cut some off, I would also expect regrowth.

that the tree is on the south side is just annoying because of solar... but I wouldn't want to cut it down for that reason either.

Even the opposite: on the south side it provides the best shade, just for that you like to let it stand.

The "south" at 7m height and the "south" at 3m height are the same ;-)
