Landscaping Mailbox

Here, almost every house has the front doors freely accessible (even if gardens are fenced), so the mailbox is usually hanging next to the front door. For those that actually have a gate at the entrance, it then hangs on a pillar or on the fence.

Driveway with gate is rather rare. Preferably with suitably large plots (old or expensive with new construction)

Same here. With the concrete fence, we would call it a wall - and those are neither wanted nor allowed here. It's better that way.

Not if you only have it on 1 or 2 sides, the inside also has the pattern and the property has a usable size.

How are you supposed to get a tip or come up with ideas if you have no idea what your property/outdoor area currently looks like or is supposed to look like? You can see that from the discussion. Some have the mailbox on the house, but that only works if the property is accessible. Do you have a gate? A fence? A hedge? A wall? Basically, I would recommend a mailbox with an integrated parcel box, preferably (seemingly) too big rather than small, and my mailbox goes at the property boundary or next to the driveway. The mail carrier doesn’t need to trudge into my place every day... and the few days a year when I’m sick, I’ll manage the 8 meters to the mailbox somehow. I can manage the 5 km to the doctor too.
