I was hoping that the filling might cost around €20k and not €40k. Or that we would consider a basement. That might not be cheaper, but at least it adds "value." Edit: The €60 was still calculated conservatively. The next development area is supposed to cost €60 to €90 more per square meter, but there is almost nothing from the city, mostly private, so it will rather be €90/m² (or more). We will probably have to ask the locals what they paid for their filling. There are already buildings around it.

I had the same thought here, as well as in our building area. From my experience now, I can say that tastes and priorities are completely different. In our case, the plots that were taken first were the ones I would never have chosen. Different builders always look at different aspects. Therefore, I would suggest that the OP, after consulting with the municipality, select all the plots that are theoretically possible and then establish a ranking... and then hope...

Which consultation do you mean exactly? In principle, there is an application form where you can mark the desired plots and specify an order. I can also imagine that there are builders who rather look at the size and therefore decide on those in the northeast and completely neglect the garden orientation.

I find all the plots you suggested okay.
I would be more concerned about the possible many walks on the path than multiple neighbors...
6189 would be my favorite because the garden has sun all day and the street alignment allows for a lot of west-facing sun in the garden without shading.

Whether it makes sense to specify all 14 plots or if the allocation is done according to the order of points, and first the people with the most points are looked at. Their respective first choices are fulfilled, then positions 6-10 are contacted, and so on.
If it works according to this scheme, you would still have to be asked, for example, at position 11, even if your 4 favorites are gone, whether you would like one of the remaining ones.
I cannot imagine that the municipal employee thinks, "oh, his 4 favorites are gone, then I don't have to contact this builder anymore," and immediately gets in touch with No. 12.

In the Badische I read that such a procedure had already been used for Ichenheim ([Frankenstraße]), the local point catalog was merely modified. Perhaps it might be possible to find out how the local winners proceeded.

I honestly understood it exactly like that... If the 4 are gone, then I’m out, because I didn’t express interest in the other plots beforehand. But I will ask if I have a flaw in my thinking. Good point, although I suspect the applicants themselves don’t know whether their strategy was decisive.
