I also like it very much, is the large entrance stone made of the same material as the steps? It just looks a bit disharmonious right now, I think. But it still has moss/algae or something on it. Just keep that in mind going forward and it will definitely look very stylish!

Thank you,

we have already scrubbed and it is slowly approaching the step colors. Unfortunately, it has been freezing here for days and we don’t want to unpack the high-pressure cleaner (laziness)...

However, the colors (also for the Gredplatten) will probably never be identical. We got the stuff from a farm demolition (brother) and we “have” to take them as they come.

I have already looked on the classifieds online, but the prices are outrageous.... :eek:o_O We really didn’t plan a budget for the outdoor areas...... At the moment we are at 170 euros material costs and we wanted to manage with 2000 euros in total. But the carport, terrace veranda and dry stone wall are also supposed to be included.... So there is no buffer left for color-matched Gredplatten.

and I hope we will get pretty far with these paving stones:

However, we still have no idea where to position the parking spaces or the carport. For now, we are just paving around the house, then starting with the dry stone wall and seeing where we end up with both and the access path becomes clearer... then we will just practice driving with the car and see which turning radius suits us...

It doesn't have to be identical! Natural stones also live from the fact that they are all somewhat different. In the picture, the difference is quite noticeable, but that is probably due to the algae growth!

you're right in the pictures, the algae/moss really stands out. I was shocked too when I saw it. In real life, it's somehow not that bad.... No idea why....
