Hello community,
we are in the final stages of the floor plan planning with the architect and have had the house placed on the existing plot.
The house is to be built at street level - unfortunately, the plot has a drop of about 1.5 meters immediately after the street and then drops another meter over a length of about 30 meters. Accordingly, our house including driveway and carport is currently hanging in the air and we are not quite sure how to integrate this into a nice plot design.
My wish was actually to have a piece of level garden/lawn after the terrace, which should be located at the front left corner of the house, in order to be able to entertain guests in a ground-level garden. The architect says this will be difficult, as the terrain outside the terrace may not be raised by more than one meter without approval, which would be necessary.
Furthermore, I am not yet satisfied with the solution of the carport supported by retaining walls.
The advantage is that a nice basement apartment can be built there, which is almost a ground floor apartment with a nice side entrance and a small terrace between the house and the carport.
Do you have any suggestions? 3D plan of the current terrain attached.
Thank you!
