BNatSchG
§ 39 General protection of wild animals and plants; authorization to issue legal ordinances
...
(5) It is prohibited,
...
2. to cut, coppice, or remove trees that stand outside the forest, short-rotation plantations, or horticulturally used land, hedges, living fences, bushes, and other woody plants from March 1 to September 30; gentle shaping and maintenance cuts to remove plant growth or to maintain the health of trees are permitted
...
The prohibitions of sentence 1 numbers 1 to 3 do not apply to
...
4. permissible construction projects, if only minor woody vegetation must be removed to carry out the construction measures.

Whether Bremen has further restrictions must be checked by yourself.

Currently nothing. I just want to secure my own boundary in advance so that, as often read here in the forum, possible encroachments do not occur. The plots have a seamless transition; apart from a marking on both sides of the street, there is nothing there!

But I simply do not know what the buyer of the house will build there once the old building is demolished. Allowed on his property are WA II/o, floor area ratio 0.35, plot ratio 0.70.

My neighbor told me yesterday that, according to hearsay, a construction contractor bought it. He will probably fully exploit the plot ratio and the floor area ratio.

Don’t worry, I will not remove anything there unless it has to be done. But I want to inform myself in advance so that in case of need, I at least know what I am allowed and what not.

Thank you very much for the helpful text passages. I will inform myself about further restrictions!

Just again: I will not touch anything there as long as nothing has to be done. I just want to be informed in advance!

You mean, because there is no fence, you are afraid that someone will build on your property? Yes, I would be careful too, but I think especially developers are professional enough that this happens less often. Don’t you have proper boundary stones?

I’m not afraid, but I have concerns. And after finding out which potential construction company it is, I definitely should and want to do something beforehand to avoid trouble later. Whether it would actually come to that is secondary for me!

On the street side, the marking is a larger pink dot, and on the other side a marking cross was placed on the retaining wall.. But otherwise, the boundary is not visible.. There are no boundary stones..
