You have to empty a condenser dryer every time.
It involves about one liter of water.

I would (for heaven's sake) not dispose of lint in the wastewater. It can go in the trash before it clogs your pipes.

Most of the time, the dryer and washing machine stand next to each other, and there is already a drain for the washing machine anyway. If you buy a condenser dryer today, it often also has a drain hose (not just the expensive models) that you simply connect to the washing machine's drain. So from my point of view, there is no need for a basin in the utility room of the OP.

We have a similar room configuration and have omitted the sink due to the size of the room. The only point where we would need a sink so far is for pouring out the water, as our condenser dryer does not yet have a hose. In terms of quantity, I would say that the container is emptied after all 3 drying cycles. So once a week. If the 10 steps per week are too much for someone, they simply have to install a sink. However, I must add that we still mow, vacuum, and ventilate ourselves.

That was not my intention either, but there may be a need to rinse or wash something out (a sieve, a component, whatever). However, it is not absolutely necessary for a suitable basin to be permanently installed next to the washing machine. You can also do it in an adjacent room or in a bucket. A super-short research has shown that heat pump dryers with a fixed connection to the wastewater still have a container that must be emptied manually (I do not know how often). In that case, I would probably provide a drain after all.

Oh dear. How anti-progressive. Can you still operate a light switch without an iPhone?

So such devices may exist. But there are definitely (many) devices that have a drain hose for the condensate, which makes emptying the condensate collection container unnecessary. For devices that do not have such a drain hose, there are often accessories that can retrofit this for a few euros. The DIYer probably does it himself with an aquarium hose, some cable ties, and gaffer tape.
