Hello everyone,
our kitchen was installed three and a half years ago. Among other things, we have a tall cabinet with full-extension drawers, so the door has 5 hinges with a 165-degree opening angle.
In May, a pin broke in one of these hinges. As a result, the door could no longer close completely but always "sprung back" to about 10-15 degrees opening angle. I replaced the hinge with a
Hettich 6802200029 I-Sensys 8657i - concealed quick-mount hinge with integrated silent system, opening angle 165, nickel-plated steel
(see attached picture).
Since yesterday, I again have the problem that the door springs back to 10-15 degrees and remains open. I have not yet been able to check which of the five hinges is causing this this time. But basically: why does this happen so often? Is there something during installation/door adjustment that "overloads" the hinges?
