Kitchen front Nexus black-brown

we were at Ikea today and actually wanted to order our planned kitchen. So again regarding the fronts, and we noticed that the Nexus front Schwarzbraun has two different shades in the showroom. One as we were "used to," really dark. The other rather brown with just a touch of black. We did not like that at all, so off to the IKEA ladies. The first one said it was just the lighting. Sure ... :rolleyes: . The second lady said it depends on the respective suppliers. One delivers this, the other one delivers that. Great. According to her information, it would be like a roulette which color we would get. But the lighter Nexus front Schwarzbraun is simply ugly. It is neither here nor there. Is that really the case? My husband and I are very frustrated; we were so looking forward to our new kitchen and then this. We only want the really dark front :(

Unfortunately, I can't say anything about the color schemes of the kitchen - but... ;)

Have you looked into how the return policy works in such a case? Since I have always had very good experiences with that so far, I would ask in your place whether there is a chance that you - at the moment when the boxes are opened and you realize it is the wrong color - can still exchange or return the whole thing?

Or you could inquire about the manufacturers of the kitchens in the showroom - if it really depends on them - and make a note of the one with the color you want. Maybe you can influence that when ordering.

In any case, I wish you much success with buying the kitchen. I’m keeping my fingers crossed that everything goes the way you want.

oh man, how stupid. Yes, that can unfortunately happen. I experienced that with my service. IKEA 365
Not only did they have different colors (white & gray), but the plates were also slightly thicker.
But that was goods worth less than 100 euros. With a kitchen, it’s obviously different.
I would freak out!
