With construction power, it’s not about the drill or the angle grinder in these dimensions, but the screed heating program ;)

Construction electricity for 3-5k€? Where do you live and how much does electricity cost please? We currently pay 33.4 cents per kWh for construction electricity. Apart from the heating program, there shouldn't be much electricity consumption. Dryers and heaters are not necessarily needed... Otherwise, many of the craftsmen's devices run on batteries.

Just as an example for us:
Water connection all included 1300€ for 5m
Electricity connection all included 1500€ for 15m
Sewage connection free, own earthworks contractor up to the shaft 2100€ including 25m DN110/160
Telekom all included 899€ for 15m

Surprisingly added for us:
Soundproof windows +5k€
Radon sealing +5k€
More excavation/removal 20k€ instead of 10k€ according to the offer

Otherwise, I think many are much too strict here. There are also home builders who don't have high demands.

Crazy. My HAR/multi-division is exactly 4.5m away from the street where the cables are located.

So far, every single craftsman has charged swap batteries on our power. The construction trailer with heater and coffee machine also draws power; in winter, it’s not possible without it if you want to see the construction workers again...

But it can be. There are other forums besides this one, and last and the year before last, 8-9000 kWh were frequently mentioned, including screed program plus 2-3 weeks of construction dryer. If you then get a bad tariff, which depends on the region, and exceeds 0.4€, it hurts not only the person who doesn’t calculate anything at all. Those who have built know that it’s always good to calculate an extra thousand. The money melts away during construction. If you rely on your fixed price, don’t even recalculate or research yourself, it will look bad sooner or later. But it’s no use taking a mentioned number here and only comparing it with your own from 2-4 years ago... I like to refer to the relevant threads like “Why has building become so expensive” or still current

I keep being amazed and am also slowly getting angry, E.ON in the North already raised the basic supplier tariff to almost 56 cents/kWh as of March 1st. Luckily, we had the Hotboy heating phase before that for 33 cents. That almost makes you happy.

Even when I compare electricity prices between North and South, I could cry. In the North, I get the cheapest green electricity for 37 cents, friends in Franconia for 29 cents. Honestly, that makes me a bit angry.
Why is it so different?

Wow, so economical.
For us it was over 8000 kWh in the end. But there were also two houses with screed heating and delayed heat pump delivery and straw house connection. That means the first house also ran the heat pump on construction power for about two weeks.

However, I believe we could have just made a different electricity contract. The kWh price was quite good back then. At most, I could have taken advantage of switching bonuses.
