For us, it took a total of 11 months until the approval (initially it was said to be about 6-8 weeks) and the approval was basically only given when the ready-to-sign loan agreements were available.

We have submitted an initial application, after which the main application will follow.... that still takes some time with us but hopefully not 11 months.

We also hoped so. And everything was delayed by 6 months because of that. But that's not a "must."

Anyway, you will gain your experience there. I'm just telling you this: Without a 100% guaranteed financing with calculations presented down to the last cent, there will certainly be no approval.
