Hello everyone,
We are currently renovating a house built in 1955 and actually plan to renew almost everything.
According to the energy consultant, we should take the following steps

Of course, we would like to achieve the maximum funding. We actually don’t need a loan anymore; the grant would be sufficient for us.
So that we don’t have to apply for everything step by step with the slow BAFA, we would like to do most of it through the KFW. We were told that the KFW is significantly faster (weeks vs. hours).
Therefore, we have two options in mind:
Option 1)
Application at KFW for Efficiency House 85 EE. We can start quickly directly with KFW.
Disadvantage:
- The funding is only 35%, because the iSFP bonus is lost since everything is done at once - without at least one measure being fully completed.
- For the replacement of the heating system (oil to heat pump), we only get 35% instead of 45% + 5%.
Option 2)
We apply at KFW for a small loan + repayment grant for the house and cellar door and renew these relatively quickly. That would then be a completed individual measure with 20% BEG EM + 5% iSFP.
After that, one could submit the second application directly for KFW 85 EE and start all other steps more or less simultaneously, but then would get the 5% iSFP bonus, so 35% + 5%.
Option 2) brings almost €10,000 more in funding. The question is whether this is possible.
Do you have any experience with this? Has anyone done it this way before?
