Hello everyone,
do you know if it is sufficient for the energy consultant of the KfW to certify that the house has 2 residential units, or does that also have to be stated in the building application?
The plans etc. will of course be adjusted and the exterior dimensions will not change! Therefore, I don't have to have the building application etc. changed, right???
Background:
At first, we did not want to convert above our garage - maybe for later.
Therefore, the building application was also submitted in such a way that the building area is used as an undeveloped attic. This is how the building application was approved.
Now we would like to completely convert that part of the building (family situation has changed).
In other words, a single-family house (180m² living space) with one residential unit (62m² living space).
Many thanks for your help.
Best regards Florian
