ETICS, wooden house or special exterior plaster are possible.

With our previous townhouse, we also had this effect, similarly strong. The architect of the new housing development explained back then (20 years ago) that it was due to the plaster. It was specially chosen so that moisture can enter but also quickly escape. Maybe I’m not recalling it entirely correctly... it’s been so long. But something like that. The plaster was not harmed by it at all. By the way, we had KLB bricks. Eventually, it didn’t bother me anymore, you only see it when it rains..

30 cm Ytong monolithic plastered, but none of that with us and everyone else in the settlement who built like this, and so far there are five of them. How was it plastered? Here twice, base coat with mesh inside, then colored top coat, finally silicone resin paint as the final coat. You see nothing zero nada nothing of the Ytong.

I really find it intense too. At first, when I saw the picture, I thought it was a shell construction. I thought, okay, rain and residual moisture in the masonry and so on. But when I saw [BJ 2016], I was totally shocked. That would be a total disaster for us if it looked like that someday. Putting several hundred thousand euros into a house and then seeing a picture like that, I find it terrible. I need to talk to our architect about it. The shell construction is not far off anymore.

Looks really shabby. I usually only know it in a lesser form, but also very rarely. This is certainly not normal.

But this nicely shows the disadvantages of the monolithic wall structure... thermal bridges everywhere. Even if you don’t see them, they are always there and increase the chance of later problems with the facade. That’s why it’s always better to have a two-layer structure or an insulation system, even if the conspiracy theorists / insulation opponents come out of the woodwork again

A lot of construction here is done with Ytong, which is not normal at all. You usually only see that in cheap houses like [Stadt und Land], etc.
