Hello everyone,
I have an appointment with my site manager next week. Before that, I wanted to get some opinions and maybe someone has already had the same problem or at least seen it before.

The following problem:

When it rained extremely heavily last week and there was also a strong wind, our facade suddenly looked like this (see photo) – you could clearly see the joints of the stones on the plaster and slight cracks in the base area. Does anyone have any idea what this could be? Is there a construction defect here? For example, too thin LUP?

Information about the house:

Year built: 2016
Masonry: 30 cm Ytong, glued
Plaster: according to construction plan, 15mm LUP and 3mm top plaster

Presumably 20 cm stones that form a nice thermal bridge and too little base plaster.

Write something about the wall structure

Basically, you can see this with every new building, but the extent here is relatively strong. However, I wouldn't worry about it now. CRACKS in the exterior plaster are not normal!

There are several Ytong houses in our new development area that look similar. Unfortunately, your gray as a color greatly enhances the effect.
