Exactly, I didn’t want it to come to that either. Sometimes you just get carried away in such discussions. Just one final word to : It may well be that I no longer view Steffen’s contributions completely neutrally, I am only human after all. However, I never said that he isn’t allowed to describe his situation, not at all. But it doesn’t help a normal earner with a household income of €4,000 and a planned loan of €1,500 if he tells you he earns €10,000 net and has a loan installment of €1,300 because he has €300,000 in equity. That’s what I mean by instrumentalizing. On the other hand, I find the following discussion rather annoying. It may be interesting who financed how much and under what conditions. However, I find the discussion about income/wealth/status and the like completely uninteresting. I think everyone should live as they want and can. If someone has achieved something, they should be able to afford something as well. There is no need for envy. Unfortunately, there are also plenty of professions where people do a lot yet still do not receive the (justified) remuneration for it (e.g., elderly care and nursing staff).
