I did not say that, maybe you should read the quoted post and my criticism of the instrumentalization in it, so that you understand the example.

The problem with a forum is always: you only read the user's posts, you usually do not get to know the person directly. The personality of a person is very difficult to recognize from their writing style, mostly it is rather subconscious and unconscious elements that are reflected there. But now this is getting too psychological.

Therefore, it may be that you have friends in different salary brackets. However, that does not matter here ... but maybe it should make you think that, to my knowledge, you have already received several such criticisms, not only from me, and have mostly dismissed them as envy. And I do not want to review all your posts, but only want to draw your attention to the effect of your posts specifically on me (in all threads where you have participated and I have not engaged in the discussion).

Exactly! That’s what I mean. Why not be a bit relaxed. An acquaintance has a weakness for older Porsches and now has number 3. I would never buy one.. but I’m happy when it’s guys’ night and we take a spin

But the fact that we build completely exaggerated and overpriced can be seen almost everywhere on vacation, whether in poor countries or in rich ones like the USA or also

But then it should at least be an S6, better an RS6 and chip tuned

I can only agree with that. But as I said: it’s always a question of how you handle the information and make it public. And in a forum that very quickly turns into bragging, because you don’t know the person personally.

That’s true. This is indeed not the first criticism. The difference in the forum: people write much faster than they "say" it. That can be good and/or bad. For me, the core problem is clearly this: in Germany, high incomes / standards of living are almost always viewed with skepticism, envy, resentment, etc. at first. In many other countries (I know this especially from the States) that is not the case.

Especially in the States, however, people are also "hInterhypältiger". I also worked there for a while and when you stand in front of someone, they act friendly in every way, but when you are back in Germany and ask something in an email, you only get an answer after 2 weeks and after the 3rd follow-up...
