Issuance of the building permit?

A little over eight months.

4 weeks. Proposal for acceleration. Submit the application by hand at the city.

Our preliminary building inquiry is currently running as follows:
- talked to the building authority by phone and in person, as there were still some minor uncertainties
- personally submitted and DISCUSSED the preliminary building inquiry
- 2 weeks later: request for plans in a different scale and powers of attorney (no, this was never mentioned before!)
- personally submitted again
- 2 weeks later a call: the data is now in the system and is being processed.
=> this is supposed to take about 4-6 weeks now...
... we will see...

What saved us a lot of time was that we personally and directly approached the neighbors regarding an exemption and asked for their consent or had them sign the corresponding form. For us, this took one week. Through the municipality, such a process usually takes 6 weeks or even longer.

Sent by us during the summer holidays. 17 calendar days later (including changes, i.e., additional correspondence in between) we had the building permit. No preliminary building inquiry was sent, but beforehand we asked the building authority at an appointment whether the project was feasible as planned.

Building in an existing development area without a development plan: Longer processing time, as §34 applies.
Building in an area with a development plan or a new development area with a development plan: If the development plan is adhered to, it is usually completed within 4 weeks.
Here in SH: first the city/the municipality/the office to which the municipality belongs examines it. If you know the person in charge there, you hand it over, they flip through it, ask if necessary, stamp it, then it goes to the district, where it is practically approved immediately. Karsten
