Hello everyone,

we have recently looked at a few plots of land. All are fully developed according to the seller.

What is still unclear to us is that some have this cable (see picture) present. Some do not.

Is the plot not fully developed without the cable? Or what is the background of this? Would additional costs arise if purchased?

Thanks in advance.

Has nothing to do with the cable at first.

Connected simply means that all utilities are available.

That is water, sewage, telecommunications, electricity, gas, etc.

Available means in the ground on the property. Since no one knows where a house will be built, the connection to the house is made when it is built. The actual transfer point is then determined by the respective utility provider.

So you have to pay for the house electricity connection yourself anyway.

The cable end was buried with me. The excavator operator just has to work carefully ;)

The cable you see there could simply be a remnant of something. Usually, a cable "live with power" lies in the street in front and not on the property.

But some GÜs also sometimes lay down a "dead" one.

Our property was considered fully developed, although all suppliers were/are only located on the opposite side. Everything has to be routed under the street.

What costs approximately arose for the "routing through" then?
