Is preparing for an air conditioner worth it?

Does anyone know how long the KfW is allowed to check/sanction the subsidized energy certificate?

If I were to build again, I would provide appropriate connections (don’t forget condensate!) in every room that is used regularly and for longer periods. Children’s rooms possibly excepted.

We have air conditioning installed in the bedroom and my office; I now regret not having one in the living area as well.

Thanks to the photovoltaic system, the operating costs are absolutely manageable.

With regard to the increasingly hot and longer heat periods, I wouldn’t really make it dependent on the direction the room faces. If it has Mediterranean temperatures every day, the north-facing room will eventually get warm too.

It’s simply a matter of comfort.

I don't know, but I'm sure the period is long enough that such concerns should quickly be put to rest if you want to sleep peacefully.

Yes, sure. Even if there were a sewer pipe in the wall behind it, where I could access with the condensate. The outdoor unit would be right behind the outer wall next to it on the carport roof, also very close by. I’ve already given it some thought, it’s not like that! ;)

But it only works with bigger and especially dirty work. My wife would first give me a hard time, and my pressure to endure is not that great yet... :)
