I had condensation at the corners of almost all my Gayko windows in the last few days! My seals in the corners are glued overlapping and not mitered.

OffT: I had stored it in the car (forgotten) and had to carry it out as "mosaic" yesterday  OnT: Our windows in the house don't have that at all, but here outside it is -8°, inside +5°

Is this now a reason to complain about the windows (seals)? Since it was below minus 20 degrees C again this morning, I also checked all the windows and found condensation on the room side on several windows. Most of it is in the bedroom. Possibly explainable without controlled residential ventilation? Some are behind pleated blinds. As described above, that might possibly reinforce the effect.

To some extent, the strong temperature gradient is normal, especially with no ventilation, in the bedroom, behind blinds (air circulation is prevented).

However, I have noticed another effect. I found a window at my place that is fogged up on the outside on the lower half. The fog can be wiped off but reappears after a short time. It only affects one pane out of 11 on this side of the building (east). And this happens at -5 to -15 degrees. I keep pondering how this can be explained.

Several factors probably come together in the bedroom. It is relatively cool there. For us, it is about 18 degrees C. Cold air absorbs significantly less moisture. In addition, the humidity rises overnight. If it is extremely cold outside, condensation can occur. Our storage rooms are also unheated, so the moisture also tends to condense there. The dew point shifts. There are certainly diagrams about this. I will measure the humidity in the bedroom.
