By choosing infrared, you also saved yourself considerable initial costs for underfloor heating and heat pump, which brought you closer to the lower price per square meter. We did something similar, so here’s my tip for another saving option. We got our modules from Vitramo, who are also very customer-oriented. They calculated the necessary modules for me, and I then partially bought them used online. Our entire house cost less than €7,000 with this. What we especially liked were the frosted glass modules embedded in the concrete ceiling; we preferred that over the usual mounted metal modules. The recesses in the concrete ceiling were already planned for a few euros more and are easy to install in the upper floor with drywall anyway. Just an idea from me. Maybe you feel like showing your construction here with all the information and progress; unfortunately, hardly anyone does that anymore. Very unfortunate, because you benefit from the community. Nowadays, most are overly cautious or secretive and protect their privacy, which is voluntarily torn out elsewhere with the excavator bucket.
