Is Ikea Pax Komplement being discontinued?

I have been searching for days for 5 Pax Komplement drawers in 100cm width in my matching color.

I have been to 3 Ikea stores near me, and none of them have them anymore.

Today, a salesperson informed me that Pax is being discontinued. Apparently, there is a replacement coming.
If you want to order the drawers online, the delivery date is May 26, 2014.

Also, for many Pax installations, there are currently better prices. At least in Augsburg today.

Where can I get my 5 drawers now?

Hello, the employee could have checked in which IKEAs your drawers are still available. If it cannot be queried online, the hot line from IKEA can help.

If you do not have transparent doors or none at all, consider if it is important that the color of the interior furnishings matches.

I would definitely order the drawers online, better safe than sorry.
If you find them somewhere faster and even cheaper in the meantime, you can still cancel.
But if they are sold out, you will be really annoyed.

Pax does not run out. Only the interior will be completely renewed. By February, the new range, which will also include new drawers, should be available. Only the color birch will then disappear.

At my IKEA today, I saw the drawers in white, black-brown, oak white, and birch, although the website stated that there were no drawers for sale there.
