On the left is a Metod tall cabinet also in 37 cm depth. No, no jackets, we have those in the one-meter Pax on the right. On the left, in the lower half, there are internal drawers, everyone has their own for hats and scarves, above that another one for keys, wallets, and on top a shelf. So hardly anything flies around, at least in theory – if it weren't for the little ones :D

I am not an Ikea fan, but I have the Pax myself and am very satisfied. Cheap junk like Platsa would never ever come into my home. I would rather save for something more high-quality.

These are valuable informations for me, as I have also at least considered PLATSA. What is the negative quality assessment based on? Would you have ever bought it? It doesn't seem particularly low-priced to me in the Ikea cosmos.

no, I didn't buy it because I already found the quality in the store terrible. Everyone certainly has a different standard there. I once threw an Ikea dresser out the window because the gap measurements and the warped doors drove me crazy ;) Even the guys from the assembly service who assembled my PAX couldn't fix it...
