Oh, that is a great tip that there are clothes rails for Nordli :O Maybe that already fits. Above that, maybe some wall shelves for a few pretty boxes or something. hm

Quick info in case it will be Pax again, in the past there was always pax 1 meter for 79 euros in January. Without fittings. A very good price to start.

[Ivar] also has corner shelves, I have seen that, that's true. Pax definitely has corner modules too, right? Alternatively, as ypg said, you could hang things there that you rarely need.

Our Pax wardrobes were removed in the new house.. (most of them). Even after years, I still felt like they were off-gassing some kind of chemicals. When searching for furniture, I only google for "massiv". You yourself have already expressed concerns.. trust your gut feeling.. better wood.

I have Ivar (because of less depth and nicer material). I have (provisionally, for 8 years ) cut banana box lids as drawers for everything that can be stacked. Inside I have everything rolled up and stacked one behind the other in a Marie Kondo style. This turns Ivar into a space miracle and extremely practical. The banana box thing can also be made nicely. Wooden boxes or covering the banana box with nice fabric.

I am a confirmed Ivar fan and also have Ivar in the hallway, in the utility storage room, and in the living room. In the hallway the carpenter adjusted the length by shortening the shelves in length. This way you can also get custom-made with Ivar. I would not buy an Ivar corner. They are expensive and impractical. Better to build or cut it yourself.

The clothes rail is no longer available for purchase. I have one and find it just so-so. I have a total of 2 clothes rails, 1 in Ivar metal and one made from a wooden broom handle. It fits Ivar better and I find it a good replacement for the metal rail.

As dust protection, I have curtains on the wardrobe. It looks good, but you have to make some effort so that it doesn’t look too student-like. Having doors made was too expensive for me. Meanwhile, the inexpensive curtain solution has become an "I love it" because you don’t have to slide the curtains aside. My improvised drawers can still be pulled out with one handle. It all works super fast and the room still looks “dressed.”

I would take Ivar and think about dust protection and possible custom work.

Pax strangely has never really appealed to me. I got rid of it. Stolmen I had once too, was too expensive and also too little space for me. You couldn’t install as many shelves as you wanted. With Ivar this is no problem.

I have to admit, I still tend to lean towards IVAR, possibly with customizations. My old, black Pax from 10 years ago was actually good quality before the moving chaos ruined it. However, I temporarily had a newer Pax in the utility room of the new house, which we then sold via [Ibäh KleineZiegen], and I was really shocked at how much worse the quality had become. All the walls and boards are much thinner than before, almost unstable. A very wobbly matter, it really didn’t impress me.

Alternatively, I find those industrial shelves quite nice, you know, the black-painted water pipes and boards that look like rustic wood. You could also build clothes rails out of them. And underneath, just a long row of dressers with 3 drawers each would also look quite nice.

But that would leave open how to realize the corner. And 5-6 new dressers of course cost quite a bit of money.
