Is IKEA IVAR suitable for a dressing room? Alternatives?

I love order. Perfect order on the outside is only possible with closed storage. By the way, the love of order does not necessarily lead to it. I also don’t like dusty clothes. By the way, I stay away from dark suits as long and as much as possible. However, there are a very few customers who don’t agree with my colorful Asics, jeans, and hoodie.

I agree, if there is a window, then definitely closed. I don't have a window.

And my Ivar stock has moved to the study ;), with a large worktop in between

Oh wow, this is so off topic right now, but I just thought "wow is that a semi? that should be locked up!" Only upon closer inspection did I see that they are hangers.

I have Ivar in the dressing room! Corner: one shelf is in front of the other. Not ideal... that's where I hang things I only need seasonally. Next to it, I have the Malm drawers. Ivar is white glazed. 50cm fit just right with normal hangers.

Oh, the window and fading issue is a good argument :O Maybe it can be managed with anti-UV film? I actually wanted to keep it open in any case, whether Pax or Ivar or something else. So with drawers, but no doors anymore. I had a Pax with sliding doors for 10 years, those things are so cumbersome and always in the way. And after multiple disassemblies and reassemblies (and that chaotic group during the last move), it has now lost a lot of stability and appearance. So I actually didn't want to take it along again, even though it has a great layout. Pax would have the advantage over Ivar of being at least closed on the sides. That also blocks some light. But actually, I didn't want another laminated particleboard piece that costs twice as much as Ivar made of real wood. I have to think about it again.

Alternatively, a high-quality but used wardrobe / wall unit on eBay Classifieds? I got some really great pieces from there, sometimes for less than a tenth of the original price (dresser 500 instead of 4600!, table 150 instead of 3500, etc.)
