Is clinker recommended after construction when done by oneself?

because you really should do a proper smooth finish there. Besides, the described wall construction would not be suitable if plaster is used instead of the outer shell, the thicknesses of the other layers would need to be recalculated.

We will have the planner calculate the clinker version compared to the plaster facade with tasteful color elements.

When thinking of aesthetics, I did not mean broad rustic painting with red bay windows or filling windows with color patches so that they align with their counterparts on the other floor. You might as well use fries grease as hair gel then ;-)

We had also mentioned this to the expert because we were worried that the exterior walls might be too thin. Insulation can be added later, but brick cladding is apparently very labor-intensive. Very costly stainless steel brackets must be attached to the base slab to support the weight (with insulation in between, the brick cladding is quite a distance from the foundation). That probably doesn’t make much sense... Especially since the plaster is not a good base for additional insulation either; those would be more like makeshift solutions.
